    M1802 Polyolefin sleeves - yellow

Are you struggling to find the correct wire or cable during troubleshooting or maintenance? Our halogen-free, self-extinguishing, flame-retardant polyolefin heat shrink comm 2:1 sleeves (also known as heat shrink tubing) offer the perfect solution.

The sleeves are ideal for identifying wires in e.g. the electrical and electronics industries, water and air hoses, cables on the back of solar panels, and tools. Simply slide the sleeve over the wire or cable and use a heat source, such as an industrial heat gun, to secure it in place. Alternatively, many of our customers choose not to fix the sleeves permanently, allowing them to be easily removed at a later stage.

How do you choose the right sleeve size?

Our polyolefin sleeves are available in several standard heights and widths. Use the table below to determine which height fits the outer diameter of your wire or cable. For example:

    For example:

    • The wire has an outer diameter of 3.6 mm.
    • The appropriate sleeve is one with a maximum height of 11.1 mm.
    • Choose the width based on the length of the coding you will print on the sleeve.
    • The maximum printable height for an 11.1 mm sleeve is 10.1 mm. Staying within these margins ensures the print remains legible after shrinking.

Do you need sleeves or a different type of wire labelling?

KShrink sleeves are typically applied to wires and cables that are not yet connected. If you need labels for wires that are already connected, consider using cable tags or wrap-around labels instead. For assistance in selecting the correct sleeve size or other label materials for your wire and cable coding, feel free to contact our advisors at +31(0)172 769 123. They will be happy to help you find the perfect solution.
