    M1802 Polyolefin sleeves - white

Heat shrink sleeves, also known as heat shrink tubing, are a popular choice for wire coding and cable marking. This versatile material is widely used in the electronics and electrical industries, as well as for applications such as solar panels, patch panels, water and air hoses, and servers.

The sleeves are easy to print using a thermal transfer printer. After you have finished printing, simply slide the sleeve over the wire or cable and use an industrial heat gun to shrink it securely into place. The M1802 sleeves have a 2:1 shrink ratio and are halogen-free, flame-retardant, and self-extinguishing.

How to choose the right size sleeve

Our polyolefin sleeves are available in several standard heights and widths. To help you select the correct size, use the chart with dimensions and diameters below.

Example: For a cable with an outer diameter of 15.7 mm, choose a sleeve with a maximum height of 42.1 mm. Select the width of the sleeve based on the text or coding you wish to print on it. The maximum printable height for a 42.1 mm sleeve is 41.1 mm. Staying within these dimensions ensures your print remains legible after shrinking.

More information about cable marking and wire coding

Heat shrink sleeves are typically applied to wires and cables that have not yet been connected. For wires that are already connected, we recommend using cable tags or wrap-around labels.
