Magnetic label material

Why choose magnetic labels?

One of the most common reasons our customers opt for magnetic labels is that they are not allowed to use self-adhesive labels on metal surfaces. This may be partly due to the requirements and constraints of the work environment, and partly due to the need to be able to replace the labels over time, without having to clean the surface afterwards.

What are the benefits of magnetic labels?

If you need to change or replace labels frequently and are looking for a temporary labelling solution, our magnetic labels are a cost-effective choice. The magnetic strips (M3003) arenot only quick to apply but also easy to (re)move. A short overview of the benefits of using magnetic labels:

  • Wide temperature range, from -25°C up to +55°C.
  • Very quick to apply and remove.
  • Easy and clean removal.
  • Sturdy, powerful and durable.
  • Easy to use with a thermal transfer printer.
  • Suitable for use with a pen, highlighter or whiteboard marker.

We supply the magnetic strips on rolls for you to cut or trim them to the size you need. If you are planning on printing a large amount of magnetic labels, using a Labelmate machine can help speed up the labelling process.

Magnetic strips or removable labels?

Magnetic strips are often used in warehouses as temporary rack labels, but did you know there is also a self-adhesive label material that is just as easy to use? You can print your own labels with our removable label material (M1450) just like you would with a regular label material with a permanent adhesive. However, this particular polypropylene has a special quality which allows you to remove the labels after 10 years of use, without leaving behind any residue of the label material or adhesive. You can also reapply the label to a clean and dry surface, and you will notice it has lost none of its adhesive strength.
