Why choose continuous roll labels?
The main advantage of buying label material on continuous rolls is that you can cut it to any desired length. If you need to print both short and long codes and therefore need labels of various lengths, choosing label material on a continuous roll is a smart decision. Simply print the code onto the tape and cut it to the required size.
You can use continuous rolls of label material for printing industrial labels, as well as for creating your own warehouse labels. For the best print results, always use a compatible printer ribbon.
Which label materials are available as tape on a roll?
In our label shop, you can order the following label materials as continuous labels:
- M1002 super permanent polyester
- M1008 extreme permanent polyester
- M1009 super permanent polyester
- M1101 extreme permanent polyester
- M1103 super permanent polyester
- M1321 extreme permanent vinyl
- M1404 permanent polypropylene
- M1450 removable and reusable polypropylene
All materials mentioned above are available in widths of 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm, with roll lengths of 30 metres and 100 metres.
Vinyl
Our vinyl label material is available in two standard colours on a continuous roll: white and yellow. If you require a different colour, feel free to contact our advisors. Our vinyl material comes with a very strong adhesive and is perfect for long-term outdoor use.
Polypropylene
Polypropylene is available as continuous tape on roll with either a permanent adhesive (M1404) or as a removable and reusable label material (M1450. This cost-effective material is ideal for labelling warehouse racks or order picking locations, as well as for temporary identification, such as marking vehicles for damage repair or labelling metal sheets and components during metalworking.
Magnetic labels
If you prefer an alternative to self-adhesive labels, you can also opt for magnetic labels. Many of our customers use magnetic strips for temporary identification in warehouses. Magnetic labels are just as easy to print as self-adhesive labels and can be quickly applied and removed. Our magnetic strips are available in white and yellow on rolls of 15 or 30 metres in various widths.
Choosing between continuous labels or pre-cut labels
As mentioned earlier, continuous roll labels are ideal if you frequently print labels of different sizes. However, if you only require a single label size and prefer to print your labels yourself, you can save time by ordering pre-cut blank labels in your desired format. Our production team custom-cuts these for you, so you only need to load the roll into your printer and start printing when you need labels. This eliminates the need to manually cut or trim your labels after printing, because the labels are ready for application as soon as you have finished printing.
